About Kirker

Ever since we launched the first Kirker brochure in 1986, our aim has been to provide discerning travellers with a carefully selected range of hotels that provide excellent service and comfort, combined with private transfers, private tours and well researched itineraries that enable you to make the most of your budget and the time you have available.

Kirker hotels

We feature some wonderful properties covering a range of styles, from small, family-run riads to the finest luxury hotels. For each hotel description we retain editorial control and are therefore able to provide you with a balanced and unbiased view of each property. To help you choose the hotel best suited to your needs, please telephone 020 7593 1899 and speak to one of our expert consultants who would be delighted to share their first hand experience of the hotels and destinations.

Private transfers

Our holidays include private transfers on arrival and on departure – instantly removing the anxiety that many experience when arriving in an unfamiliar destination. No taxis, no fare negotiation – just a warm welcome and a smooth journey to your chosen hotel. Certain holidays to rural destinations include hire car.

Flexible service

We aim to offer outstanding service from start to finish; whether you would like us to recommend and book a restaurant for a special celebration dinner, arrange private guided tours, organise opera or concert tickets, wine-tasting, cookery courses – we take full responsibility for the smooth running of every aspect of your holiday, so that you can relax and enjoy every minute. It is never too late to book with us. We welcome late bookings – even on the day of departure and can often book rooms when hotels say they are full.

Speak to an expert

Our sales team has many years of experience and we make regular visits to the hotels and destinations that we feature. Clients often comment that they have seen a tempting photograph on a hotel’s website but would prefer to speak to someone who knows the property, because they need to find out what it is really like.

Added value

Many of our destinations include pre-booked tickets to popular museums including the Uffizi in Florence and the Prado in Madrid. Our hotels allow us to offer complimentary nights or room upgrades. For holidays by air, our brochure prices are based on Economy Class flights. However, we offer upgrades to Club Class at highly affordable supplements – please ask for details or see the flight information given by each price panel. We particularly recommend upgrading to Club for your flight home, it can help soften the blow as your holiday comes to an end and you head back to reality!

Kirker guide notes

We are proud of our knowledge of the destinations we feature and have prepared some useful Guide Notes giving invaluable information on restaurants, bars, museums, shopping, markets and sightseeing. The Kirker Guide Notes will be sent to you with your travel documentation – please do ask us if you would like a personal restaurant recommendation, our Kirker Concierge would be delighted to book a table on your behalf.

Opera & concerts

The Kirker Concierge is able to book tickets for your chosen performance, or provide information on performances in any Kirker destination. All prices include a local ticket agency handling fee and so will not reflect the face value of your ticket. We charge you the price we pay plus £10 per ticket. Telephone 020 7593 2286 or email concierge@kirkerholidays.com

Private tours

Whenever you arrive in a new destination for the first time, we recommend a short private walking tour or a tour with a private car if appropriate. Why not ask us to pre-book one of our local guides to meet you in your hotel foyer on your first morning for a two or three hour private excursion?

Ground arrangements only

If you have already booked your own flight tickets, we would be happy to book all other aspects of your holiday, e.g. transfers and hotel accommodation. Prices are quoted immediately and include: breakfast, tax and service at the hotel, plus transfers and Kirker extras such as Doge’s Palace tickets in Venice.

PRIVATE JETS

If you are planning to celebrate a special occasion in style, why not consider taking a small group of friends on a private jet holiday? When compared to full fare scheduled airline tickets the cost is surprisingly inexpensive: you can depart from your local airport, avoid the usual security and immigration queues and travel at the time that suits you. For further details please telephone Ignacio Foley or Dominic Rossi on 020 7593 2283.
