Beautifully situated in the foothills of the Winterhoek Mountains, 110 kilometres from Port Elizabeth, Blaauwbosch is a small and delightful private game reserve run with passion by Craig and Gill Cunningworth.

Accommodation

A perfect place to relax, the thatched lodge has the feel of the camps of old and includes the bar and the excellent restaurant. It opens on to a broad veranda which looks out over the swimming pool, the plains and towards the mountains. There are six luxury air-conditioned suites decorated in a contemporary African style, and each is spacious and has its own private terrace. There is space for a maximum of just 14 guests so attentive service is guaranteed.

Blaauwbosch is well known for its cheetah conservation work but is also home to rhino, giraffe, zebra and many species of antelope. Bird lovers in particular will be delighted by the wide range of species to be seen and visits to the nearby Addo National Park can easily be arranged
