The stylish Residence opened in 1988 and is the best hotel in Tunis. Located 30 minutes from the centre of Tunis and close to the village of La Marsa, it has its own private beach and a large outdoor swimming pool with a summer terrace bar.

Accommodation

The hotel is run by the charming Dominique di Daniel who has a unique blend of French style and Italian charm. There are comfortable lounges where guests  relax and enjoy drinks, canapés and live jazz every evening, and three excellent restaurants: Li Bai with its well known chef from Singapore, L’Olivier offering Mediterranean specialities, and the traditional Tunisian restaurant, El Dar.

Other facilities include a spa with a small indoor pool, and a summer club for children (open July and August). All 170 bedrooms have a balcony. Hotel supplement 4 July - 4 September: £46 per room, per night.
