A Taste of Bordeaux

Bordeaux 8 nights Prices on request

A seven night cruise on board AmaDolce and one night in Bordeaux | 17 June 2020

Wine capital of the world, Bordeaux has returned to the top of many discerning travellers’ wish lists in recent years, with a thriving restaurant scene, vibrant bars and stylish boutiques. This holiday combines two nights in the city itself with a seven-night river cruise through the famous wine regions around Bordeaux.

The elegant 18th century stone façades have been extensively restored and the waterfront has been revitalised and now forms one of the city’s most attractive districts. Located on the banks of the Garonne River, Bordeaux is surrounded by some of the most famous wine regions in France.

Flanking the two rivers, these areas are best explored from the water, and this cruise will take you to Sauternes, Paulliac, St Emilion and Fronsac, including a number of wine-tastings at highly-regarded vineyards. In addition to wine, there will be opportunities to visit prehistoric caves, charming bastide towns and elegant chateaux – whilst excellent cuisine inspired by the south of France will be served throughout...

Prices from £3,328 per person based on sharing a twin/double state room including flights, cruise, hotel stay and Kirker extras as described. Single supplements on request.
For full details of all cabin options please view call us on 020 7593 1899.

All Kirker clients receive entrance to the Cité du Vin

Opened in 2016 the vast, curving, metal and glass structure located on the banks of the Garonne is home to a museum dedicated to the world of wine. This is an immersive and interactive journey into the many facets of wine across the ages, through different cultures and civilisations.
