From 21 November until 31 December Berlin is home to a plethora of Christmas Markets, from the romantic setting of Charlottenburg Castle in the west of the city to the famous Gendarmenmarkt in the east. A multitude of stands sell everything from stollen and gingerbread to regional gifts crafted by glass blowers, wood carvers and doll makers. Additional markets include those at Potsdamer Platz, Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, Spandau Old Town and the Unter den Linden.
