Paris, Milan & Florence by Rail

Paris, Florence, Milan 8 nights Price from £1,764 per person

Europe has so many wonderful cities, and what better way to combine some of our favourites than by rail? Start your journey by taking the Eurostar direct to the centre of Paris, and spend two nights exploring the many monuments and museums of one of the most romantic cities in the world (Kirker clients receive a two day museum pass). Then travel direct by first class, high-speed rail through France to Milan, a stylish city, famous for its opera house La Scala, its designer shopping and the excellent art galleries such as the Brera (Kirker clients receive complimentary tickets here as well). After a couple of nights in the style capital, continue your rail journey to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. Set along the banks of the Arno, Florence is the perfect setting to explore not only the vast array of art and architecture, but also the charm of the smaller streets and local trattoria which offer delicious Tuscan cuisine.
Our suggested itinerary includes three nights in Paris, two nights in Milan and three nights in Florence, flying home – but for those with more time available, why not continue your rail journey to Rome or Venice or travel home via Turin: ask me for a tailor-made quotation.

Paris - a city worth revisiting

By The Kirker Team, 06 December 2016

As the brand new Eurostar train slowed it's pace with the arrival of the Parisian suburbs, I looked out the window keenly at the city I hadn't been to for over 15 years. The brasseries, the sights, the atmosphere and the culture all awaited me, and I eagerly awaited the chance to explore. As I reached the station concourse, I could easily identify my transfer driver at the head of the…

A Short Break in Paris

By Patrick Millar, 18 November 2016

DAY 1 - Living in London, it is easy to forget how simple it is to get to Paris these days and what a magnificent destination we have on our doorstep. Now that the Eurostar has moved to St Pancras as well, it makes the journey so much easier when travelling from other parts of the country. The new station is a wonderful way to start a journey, and we were able to arrive just forty minutes before…

Paris - the perfect short break destination

By The Kirker Team, 18 November 2016

I am one of those people who firmly believes that we all must go away at least a few times a year (although preferably once a month if I can). Paris is one of those quick fixes that you can always fit in on a free weekend. It is so easy to go by Eurostar now. Passport controls and security checks are quick and painless and you only need to arrive at the station 45 minutes before your departure. We…

Paris - The City of Art

By Izzy Whitley, 18 November 2016

Paris has quite rightly acquired the name ‘the city of art’ and it would be a mistake to visit without taking in one of its many iconic galleries and museums - the Louvre, the Musée Rodin or the museum of Picasso to name but a few. Entrance is included for all of these and many more with Kirker’s 48 hour museum pass which gives complimentary access to over 60 museums,…
