With an expert English-speaking guide you will visit the vast Baroque Buda Castle and Palace which sits imposingly on Castle Hill. Your guide will lead you through the surrounding UNESCO listed castle district of mediaeval, Baroque and 19th century buildings to the famous Fisherman’s Bastion – a fortified terrace with wonderful views towards Pest. In front of the Fisherman’s Bastion you will see the Matthias Church with its oriental inspired interior and ornately tiled roof. You will then head over to Pest to see St. Stephen's Basilica and walk along the grand Andrássy Avenue, lined with palaces, mansion houses and the State Opera House.
Opposite the Municipal House, in the heart of the atmospheric 'old town', the Paris is one of Prague's best known traditional hotels and one of the few where all the public rooms are still in the original Art Nouveau style.
Launched in 2010, AmaBella offers 80 comfortable staterooms, featuring the innovative twin balcony which combines a French balcony with a separate ‘step-out’ balcony in every room. There is a small heated swimming pool on the sun deck, a walking track and fitness room, and complimentary bicycles to explore the local area.
After a four year renovation the Parisi Udvar opened in June 2019, revealing an astonishing building built in 1817 as Budapest’s first shopping arcade – inspired by the famous Passage des Panoramas in Paris.
