This exhibition provides a unique opportunity to see more than 120 works from the collection built by Arthur Hahnloser (1870-1936) and his wife Hedy Hahnloser-Buhler (1873-1952), which soon became one of the world’s most important. The paintings come from the collections of two Swiss galleries – the Kunst Museum, Bern and the Kunstmuseum, Winterthur.

The Kirker Difference

Arranged by us exclusively for our customers...

Vienna Masterticket

For all of our clients travelling to Vienna, we are delighted to include a Masterticket which gives you entrance to the Leopold Museum and the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Fine Arts). The Kunsthistorisches was built by Emperor Franz Joseph to house the vast Habsburg collections – amongst its many highlights is one of the foremost collections of Old Masters.

In contrast, the Leopold Museum is the home of Austrian modern art and includes works by the founder of the Vienna Secession movement, Gustav Klimt. The Kunstkammer at the Kunsthistorisches Museum is highly recommended; it reopened in 2013 after a 10 year restoration and is one of the world’s most important chambers of art.
