Venice is a unique city where 8th century mosaics can be seen alongside paintings by Tintoretto and Tiepolo, and it is also home to one of the world’s most important contemporary art events. Held since 1895, the Biennale presents a diverse array of exhibitions, installations and events throughout the city. Our visit in the company of art expert Charlie Hall, who has worked in Venice for more than 25 years, will take in both classical and modern art in an itinerary which has something for everyone with an interest in the visual arts.

He now runs the programme with his father and spends almost half of the year working in Italy. He has designed courses for the Christie's Education 'Collecting and Great Collections’ programmes and the Serpentine Gallery ‘Collectors Circle’ as well as for The Soho House group of members’ clubs. Charlie has now led many Italian tours for Kirker, to destinations including Rome, Florence and Venice, and has proved to be very popular with our clients.
