During the warm Roman summer, the Aldrovandi Villa Borghese is the perfect base for a short break and offers an oasis of calm to retreat to after a morning’s sightseeing. In the exclusive Parioli district, the hotel’s lush garden and large summer swimming pool provide a relaxing haven.

Grand and traditional, the hotel has 103 classical style bedrooms with views of the beautiful Borghese Gardens, the elegant neighbouring villas or the private gardens. Michelin-starred chef Andrea Migliaccio has opened his new restaurant ‘Assaje’ with a poolside terrace perfect for delicious al fresco dining. The spa offers a sauna, hammam and thalassotherapy pool, whilst, for the more energetic, there are bicycles to explore the wonderful Borghese Gardens – also home to one of Rome’s finest art galleries (tickets are included for Kirker clients). A 30 minute stroll through the Gardens takes you to the historical centre and a complimentary shuttle runs throughout the day, so you can be on the Spanish steps in less than ten minutes.
