The Islet of Sveti Stefan, home to this outstanding Aman hotel, is perhaps one of the most famous images of Montenegro.
The picturesque, fortified village dates back to the 15th century and lies just off the coast, connected by a short isthmus. Where it connects to the mainland there are three pink-sandy beaches and the Villa Milocer, the former royal summer residence. The Villa contains eight suites whilst the islet has 50 rooms, suites and cottages. The understated style of the interiors pays great respect to the historic stone structures; modern touches have been added to ensure a luxurious stay. Local produce is the focus of the varied dining options and there is a superb and extensive spa.
