String Quaret
The Karelia Quartet has quickly made an impression in the chamber music world since winning the 2024 Wolfinsohn String Quartet Competiton at the Royal Academy, where they all studied.
The quartet includes two members from Australia, one from Finland and one from Norway. They are currently being mentored by Alex Redington, former first violinist of the Doric Quartet. Recent engagements include performances before The King at St James' Palace in a concert organised by the Australian Music Foundation, at Apsley House for the Duke and Duchess of Wellington, in the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival in Finland and in Conzano in Italy.
