The Astra Quartet brings together four prize winning musicians based in London. As members of the Regency Quartet between 2021 and 2026, Mabelle, Olwen and Jamie were winners of the 2025 Royal Over-Seas League String Ensemble Prize.
They were mentored by the former first violinist of The Doric Quartet, Alex Redington. They have taken part in masterclasses with leading international musicians including Lawrence Power, Sini Simonen, Simon Rowland-Jones and Su-Ock Kim. They have given concerts at St George's Bristol, King's Place, Conway Hall and North Norfolk Music Festival.
