Claudio Tedesco is an architect and opera director based in London who has been working in the opera field for more than 20 years.

After graduating from the prestigious Teatro Colon opera house in his native Buenos Aires, he moved to Europe where in addition to his own productions he has worked with world renowned directors such as Robert Wilson and Nigel Lowery. He is also a literary translator from Spanish, and his translations include a number of renowned contemporary writers. He runs short courses in opera appreciation and has led many opera tours for Kirker, to destinations including Milan, Turin, Essen and the Grafenegg Music Festival.
