Ellen Jones graduated from University of Oxford with a PhD in Egyptology and has participated in archaeological missions to Egypt since 2018.

More recently, she has worked as a secondary school teacher of Latin and Classical Civilisation. Ellen is fascinated by the ancient world. Her PhD thesis focused on the representation of the family in ancient Egyptian tomb iconography, but she is also interested in how the Roman, Greek, and Egyptian civilisations interacted with each other.
