Martin Griffiths

Martin Griffiths has been teaching astronomy for over 40 years and was senior lecturer at the University of South Wales before he retired.
He is a member of the NASA Astrobiology Science Communication Guild and still teaches astronomy online in addition to mentoring budding astronomers across the globe. He is the director of the Brecon Beacons Observatory and assists Dark Sky Wales in various public astronomy events in the Brecon Beacons International Dark Sky Reserve. Martin is an author of seven books and over 100 astronomy articles and is also a dark sky officer for the Commission for Dark Skies.
