Reopened in 2021 after a 4-year renovation, this fascinating Museum is housed in two neighbouring 16th and 17th century mansions and is dedicated to the history of Paris. The extensive collection of artefacts is spread across some 100 rooms, dating from the prehistoric period to the present day.

Entrance to the permanent collection is free. The closest station to the Musée Carnavalet on the Métro is Saint-Paul.



Open 10:00 – 18 :00. Closed Mondays.
