Auguste Rodin - A Modern Renaissance

Rodin spent an important period living and working in Belgium, and this major new exhibition in the charming town of Mons will comprise 200 sculptures, drawings, engravings and paintings, including many international loans. It will reveal Rodin’s inspiration including Michelangelo, Vesalius, Mabuse and Rubens, and his influences on later artists. Mons is a mediaeval town an hour south of Brussels by train and perfect for a day trip from the capital.
