Albertina, Vienna
28 September 2024 to 9 February 2025

This September the Albertina will hold a major retrospective of the works of Marc Chagall (1887–1985). The exhibition will bring together 90 works spanning all of his creative periods in a dazzling display of the artist’s distinctively whimsical and poetic pictorial worlds.

The Albertina's collection of works by Chagall includes over 300 painting, drawings, ceramics and prints - the exhibtion will draw from these as well as loans from the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen in Düsseldorf.

Visitors will be able to combine this exhibition with Rembrandt at the Kunsthistoriches (8 October - 12 January) and Gauguin at the Bank Austria Kunstforum Wien (3 October - 19 January).
