David Hockney 25 at the Fondation Louis Vuitton

Paris, France
Kirker Holidays

Fondation Louis Vuitton
10 April – 31 August

Set to occupy the entirety of the Fondation’s exhibition spaces, this David Hockney retrospective will be the largest ever displayed. It will contain more than 400 works spanning the artist’s prolific career from 1960’s Bradford to iPad pieces that are, even now, yet to be completed.

His most famous pieces such as A Bigger Splash will feature, as well as some works that have never been shown in public before. Other highlights will include a revisit to his opera stage sets, bringing them to life in an immersive space, as well as his great collection of Normandy paintings.

Located in Paris' 16th arrondissement in the Bois de Boulogne area, the Fondation is also well worth a visit in itself, a ‘transparent cloud’ in the verdant surroundings of the Bois de Boulogne, designed by legendary architect, Frank Gehry.
