Pergamonmuseum

Kirker Holidays

The Pergamon Museum is part of Museum Island in Berlin’s historic centre, built from 1910 to 1930. The Pergamon Museum is the former home to the famous Pergamon Altar, an ancient Greek alter erected between 180 and 160 BC.

It closed for renovation in 2023 and is expected to remain closed for the next 15-20 years.

In place of the Pergamon Museum, a temporary exhibition is running opposite the Museum Island ‘Pergamon Museum, the Panorama’, featuring a 360-degree panorama by Yadegar Asisi accompanied by original pieces of the Pergamon, allowing visitors to experience the ancient relic in a new way.
