The Albertina Museum

Vienna, Austria
Kirker Holidays

Located within a 19th-century Habsburg palace, designed by Belgian architect Louis de Montoyer, the Albertina museum is home to one of the world’s most impressive print rooms - with over 65,000 drawings and over 1 million old master prints. Additionally, the museum holds two prominent collections of Impressionist and early 20th century art, and has a selection of permanent and temporary exhibitions on display.

Entry to the Albertina museum includes access to the former palace’s 20 staterooms. These rooms, having been renovated after extensive damage during WWII, are historically accurate representations of the royal residence, with original palace furniture, offering insight into the life of aristocrats. Information is displayed in each room to provide historical context for each room and background information about the palace residents.
