Losinj
The high society of the Austro-Hungarian empire used to head to Losinj and it quickly gained a reputation as the ‘island of wellness and vitality.’ It can now be reached in three hours by car from either Pula or Rijeka airport. The weekly ferry service from Zadar to Pula also stops in Losinj. The bay of Cikat has some of the clearest water in the whole of Croatia.
