The lagoon can be visited on your way to or from the airport, or as part of a full day excursion which includes a number of other springs. ‘A Hunt for the Northern Lights’: From October to March Iceland is one of the best places to witness the Northern Lights and our evening excursions will take you out of the city to track down the best viewing spots in the company of a local expert. If the lights don’t appear you have the opportunity to try again the following evening at no extra charge. Whale Watching: From May until September the seas off the coast of Iceland attract great numbers of Minke and Humpback Whales. We can book boat trips departing from Reykjavik daily during the summer months, when the chances of seeing whales as well as White-Beaked Dolphins and Harbour Porpoises are excellent. During the summer you can witness puffins, and it is also possible to spot Orca, Fin Whales, Basking Sharks and Pilot Whales.
