Sardinia

Region

Overview

The second largest island in the Mediterranean, Sardinia has long been distinguished as having some of the clearest turquoise waters for swimming and snorkelling. The north is home to a coastline of pink granite and sandy coves and the south is where you will find long, gently shelving beaches. However, there is much more to this vast island than just the magnificent coastline. Inland, there are rugged mountain ranges and plenty to explore including Roman and Carthaginian ruins, Genoan fortresses and Pisan churches and some beautiful hilltop towns such as Nuoro, Lanusei or Baunei in the east. Wherever you choose to stay, all our featured properties have been carefully constructed to blend into the natural scenery and offer excellent service and an informal atmosphere where total relaxation is the number one priority.
