Surrounded by rolling countryside, this quintessential Renaissance hill town is home to the handsome Palazzo Ducale that once hosted one of the most prestigious courts in Europe. You will need time to view the interior and wonderful art collection including works by Piero della Francesco, Uccello and Raphael. The adjacent Oratory of San Giovanni Battista has important frescoes, and the imposing Duomo has a collection including Barocci’s ‘Last Supper’.
