Only the beguiling Dutch could have created such a fascinating city of such style tempered with Bohemian charm. The riches of its golden age are much in evidence in the patrician houses that line the canals, and in over 40 museums, including the definitive Van Gogh collection. Since the first Kirker clients arrived in Amsterdam 30 years ago, we have established close relationships with many of our favourite hotels and can usually find rooms, even at weekends.
