Andalucia

City

Overview

Once part of the Moorish territory that extended from North Africa, Andalucia is the spiritual heart of southern Spain and the home of flamenco, colourful festivals and much of the country’s finest seafood, olive oils and wines. Sandy beaches, snow-capped mountains and the iconic pueblos blancos make the Andalucian landscape varied and evocative. This is also a region with a unique artistic heritage and is the birthplace of artists such a Velazquez, Murillo and Picasso.
