Reached by an impressive causeway, unheralded Cádiz is the charming provincial capital and a thriving port. Its imposing architecture including the Baroque cathedral, narrow winding alleyways, charming parks and squares plus excellent beaches make it well-worth including in a tailor-made Andalucian itinerary.

This charming boutique property is a hidden gem in the very heart of Cadiz. An 18th century mansion, the building has retained most of its original style and features. The hotel is full of Andalucian character with distinct Islamic-inspired designs prominent throughout the hotel, from wall patterns to intricately designed rugs in the bedrooms.
All but a few of the collection of state owned paradors are ancient, historical buildings; however, this is something quite different. It was rebuilt in 2012 in a striking, modern style and with its prominent position in the historical centre of Cádiz, between La Caleta beach and the Genoves Park, it is a bold and impressive sight.
