Valencia Coast

City

Overview

With its citrus groves and fertile fields, the region of Communidad Valenciana has been the country's market garden for centuries. The area has been inhabited for 50,000 years and there are many historical buildings to discover as well as popular seaside towns that have remained relatively unspoilt. We highly recommend combining a stay in Valencia with a few days of relaxation in one of our recommended rural or coastal properties. El Saler Located 10 miles to the south of Valencia, El Saler is in the heart of the Albufera nature reserve and is close to yachting harbours and magnificent beaches such as Cullera, Gandia and Xativa. Finestrat Finestrat is seven miles from Benidorm and 35 miles from Alicante airport. The old town is located inland but there is also a long stretch of coast from Cala de Finestrat to Punta del Tossal. The sandy beach of Cala de Finestrat is bordered by the towns of Villajoyosa and Benidorm. Javea A pretty coastal town, Jávea is equidistant between Valencia and Alicante; being a little over an hour from each city. Denia The delightful town of Denia is located on the Costa Blanca, midway between Valencia and Alicante. The old fishermen’s quarter has preserved its delightful cobbled streets and whitewashed buildings and you’ll find excellent fish restaurants, a modern yacht marina and some wonderful beaches.
