The Belvedere is presenting selected works from the Villa Langmatt collection, one of the earliest and most extensive private collections of French Impressionism in Switzerland. The owners of the Art Nouveau Villa Langmatt, Jenny and Sidney Brown, started building up a collection of works of French impression in around 1907. The Browns went on to purchase works by Claude Monet and Paul Cézanne, and Pierre-Auguste Renoir, which will all be on display. The exhibition also features a number of quality of outstanding works by Camille Corot.
