Spend two nights in the fascinating, historic city itself and enjoy a tasting at Taylor’s Port House, before boarding your vessel for a cruise upriver. You will enjoy port and wine tasting at some of the region’s historic wineries, enjoy spectacular scenery, and cross the border into Spain where there will be a visit to the mediaeval university city of Salamanca, famous for its golden sandstone architecture.
