Marc Chagall was deeply interested in heritage and culture and often drew inspiration from his own experiences living in Russia, France and the US. Across his career, Chagall made use of various mediums, including ceramics, sculpture, stained glass, tapestry, and theatre. This exhibition offers a fresh perspective on Chagall’s work, using 200 works and documents to explore how his creative practice changed throughout time, from the materials he used to the collaborations and relationships he forged.
