We have chosen a varied trilogy of performances for our stay in Budapest which will include a Verdi opera by the Hungarian State Opera, the world's best loved ballet with the Hungarian National Ballet, and concert by the world-class Budapest Festival Orchestra. One of the world's finest orchestras, under the leadership of the extraordinary Iván Fischer, the musical national treasure of Hungary will give a concert at the Béla Bartók Hall, while the city's beautiful State Opera House will be the stage for both opera and ballet, celebrating 150 years of 'Swan Lake'.
