Cruise sails on 19 August, 2 September, 14 & 28 October 2021 and selected dates between March and November 2022
This holiday combines a stay in Paris with a round trip cruise down the Seine and back, travelling as far as Le Havre on the Normandy coast. En route through the countryside of Normandy you will sample the delicious local cuisine, as well as Calvados and cider, and have an opportunity to visit Monet's home and gardens at Giverny and Van Gogh's last home at Auvers-sur-Oise. There will be time to explore mediaeval Rouen and UNESCO-protected Le Havre, as well as some of France's most beautiful Romanesque abbeys and magnificent chateaux, including Chateau de Bizy inspired by Versailles. You may also choose to spend a day discovering the still visible traces of the British sector of the D-Day landings including Gold and Juno beaches, Pegasus Bridge and Arromanches floating harbour.
