The Danube is one of Europe’s most important and majestic rivers, and this itinerary includes a journey through three of Central Europe’s magnificent capital cities: Budapest, Vienna and Bratislava and the 2000-year-old town of Regensburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As well as the grand Imperial architecture and great museums and galleries of the former Habsburg Empire, you will traverse through the glorious scenery of the Danube Valley including mediaeval castles, dramatic gorges and the rolling Wachau vineyards.
