We are delighted to invite you to join a special OAE Patrons’ Trip to Tallinn, which will include a performance of Handel’s 'Messiah' by the Orchestra at the Estonia Concert Hall, the first date of a tour of Estonia and Denmark. In addition to the concert, we shall also enjoy a private recital in the morning, explore the Lahemaa National Park and visit the Arvo Pärt Centre, a striking modern building dedicated to this pioneering composer, which is located in forests close to the Baltic coast. There will also be a walking tour of Tallinn’s mediaeval old town and an excursion to the Lahemaa National Park, which embodies the tranquil Estonian nature - forests, bogs, and sea – which is closely associated with the spiritual dimensions of Pärt's music.
