The Kirker Difference

Arranged by us exclusively for our customers...

Vienna Masterticket

For all of our clients travelling to Vienna, we are delighted to include a Masterticket which gives you entrance to the Leopold Museum and the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Fine Arts). The Kunsthistorisches was built by Emperor Franz Joseph to house the vast Habsburg collections – amongst its many highlights is one of the foremost collections of Old Masters.

In contrast, the Leopold Museum is the home of Austrian modern art and includes works by the founder of the Vienna Secession movement, Gustav Klimt. The Kunstkammer at the Kunsthistorisches Museum is highly recommended; it reopened in 2013 after a 10 year restoration and is one of the world’s most important chambers of art.

The reception staff at the Altstadt were outstanding, we were given a very warm welcome and they made sure our rooms were ok. One lovely young lady helped me get online on my Ipad - never had such lovely, welcoming staff.

The outstanding trait of the hotel was the staff who were without exception cheerful, more than helpful and a pleasure to be served by. I cannot stress how important this is to the enjoyment of a holiday.
