With a wealth of original paintings, porcelain, antique clocks and furniture, this small, privately-owned, very characterful and exquisitely furnished hotel offers impeccable service and attention to detail. ‘Brasserie Ambassade’ serving classic French cuisine and a new library bar were added in 2015. Lift to most floors (advise us if essential). There are 58 bedrooms and a flotation and massage centre next door. One of our favourite hotels – highly recommended.

All Kirker clients travelling to Amsterdam receive entrance to Rijksmuseum or the Van Gogh Museum. Following a 10 year refurbishment the Rijksmuseum re-opened in 2013 and contains works by all the major Dutch Masters including one of the wealthiest Rembrandt collections in existence. The permanent collection at the Van Gogh Museum contains over 200 paintings and 500 drawings by the artist. It is beautifully laid-out, taking visitors through his work chronologically.
Kirker recommended the Ambassade and it was a delight. The handwritten note from Kirker with wine was a very special touch and our canalside rooms were perfect. Thank you.
The addition of the Brasserie and Library Bar make this such a good choice for Amsterdam. The staff are outstanding.
