Opposite the Municipal House, in the heart of the atmospheric Old Town, the Paris is one of Prague’s best known traditional hotels and one of the few where all the public rooms are still in the original Art Nouveau style. This excellent hotel opened in Spring 2004 after the comprehensive restoration of one of Prague’s most attractive Art Nouveau buildings. Formerly a theatre, the period architectural detail such as stained glass and wrought iron has been retained and combines favourably with a modern, contemporary design.
