A member of Relais and Chateaux, this luxurious hotel recently opened following a four-year refurbishment of a 1960’s property, offering a relaxed home-from-home atmosphere and spectacular views of the Amalfi Coastline.
The 49 rooms feature colourful hand-painted floor tiles from Vietri while furniture is inspired by mid-century Italian design. Breakfast is a highlight and guests are invited into the open kitchens of the gastronomic 'Alici' restaurant to select homemade breads and pastries as well delicious locally sourced goods, with hot dishes made to order. The 'Marinella Restaurant' offers refined local dishes, while pizzas and light dishes are served at the hotel’s private beach club, reached by lift or by walking through the hotel’s terraced gardens. Sun loungers are available to guests on the hotel’s private pebble beach; other facilities include a sea water swimming pool and wellness centre. A complimentary shuttle bus runs to Amalfi, though many will prefer to travel to the town or local fish restaurants at adjoining Conca dei Marini using the hotel’s complimentary shuttle boat.
