The Excelsior enjoys an outstanding seafront position with views out over the Adriatic and across to the old town, which is just a 10-minute walk away. Fully refurbished in 2017 its 158 luxurious bedrooms are divided between the historic Villa Odak building and the more modern Tower section, and the majority have wonderful sea views. Those in the Tower are bright, contemporary rooms with calming colours and wooden wall panels; in the Villa Odak, whilst still contemporary in design, the rooms have a more classical and timeless feel. Three restaurants offer a variety of cuisines including à la carte fine dining at Sensus to local seafood and Mediterranean dishes at the waterside Prora Beach Restaurant.
