Hotel de La Ville

Rome 3 nights low season from £1,394 per person

At the top of the Spanish Steps, Sir Rocco’s latest Italian hotel is one of the most stylish new openings in Rome for many years. There are 104 rooms with views over the rooftops of Rome and contemporary interiors inspired by the era of the Grand Tour, which have been designed by Olga Polizzi in collaboration with Italian designer Tommaso Ziffer.

Michelin-starred chef Fulvio Pierangelini has created menus influenced by the cuisine of the Roman Empire for the elegant Mosaico restaurant, whilst Da Sistina offers more informal Roman trattoria dining. There is also a stylish rooftop bar and the Grand Tour theme recurs in the inventive cocktail bar taking flavours from the Venetian spice route and the Sicilian-inspired spa with five treatment rooms.
