Eurostar
Short Break
Formerly the residence of the Dukes of Burgundy, this 15th-century castle was the first five-star hotel in Bruges. It has been meticulously restored conserving many unique features, including a charming private chapel in the turret of the palace, and opened in May 2008. Located in a quiet corner of the city just five minutes’ walk from the Market Square, it has 135 sumptuous bedrooms and a spa with a ‘salt wall’, sauna, hammam and a range of treatments using hot and cold stones. Dukes’ Bar offers a tapas menu and the restaurant serves classic Belgian cuisine with a modern twist. In the summer it leads out to the spacious private gardens – a real rarity in the city
