The Kamp is Finland’s most opulent hotel and has the perfect location, on the Esplanade and just five minutes’ walk from the harbour. Originally opened in 1887 by the celebrated restaurateur Carl Kamp, it reopened in 1999 after an extensive restoration. The 179 classically furnished bedrooms all have marble bathrooms; there is a brasserie, with a beautifully restored interior (currently undergoing a fresh renovation until mid-2025, a pop-up alternative is available in the meantime).
