Situated in the heart of the authentic little fishing village, Palazzo Belmonte offers an exceptionally private retreat, a world away from the hustle and bustle of the Amalfi Coast which lies just across the Golfo di Salerno. The Princely Granito di Belmonte family are delighted to welcome travellers into their ancestral home which features five acres of mature gardens and a large swimming pool. At the end of the garden, wooden steps lead down to the sandy beach where deckchairs and umbrellas are reserved for guests. The 32 bedrooms and six suites are split between the historic palazzo and the villa Belmonte. The rooms and public areas feature numerous antiques and works of art from the family’s private collection. The hotel has a poolside restaurant and bar which opens for lunch and in the evenings guests can relax and in the palazzo’s cozy living room which has an honesty bar or at the pool side bar and be served delicious cocktails whilst looking at the sun set over Capri. For dinner, the family are on hand to recommend one of the excellent local restaurants which are a short walk away.
