The Noble Testaferrata Abela family were granted the Gomerino title by Grand Master Ramon Perellos y Rocafull in 1710 and this fine baroque palazzo was one of the first to be built on St.Paul's Street, just behind the Grand Master’s Palace in the heart of Valletta. The palace is now home to 44 beautifully designed rooms with marble floors and elegant furnishings, they either look into the quiet internal courtyard or have French balconies and views to the street. In the summer the rooftop terrace offers a bar, a small swimming pool and wonderful views over the harbour. There is also a small indoor plunge pool and a range of massage treatments available.
