We enjoyed yet another magnificent Kirker concert at Broughton Castle with double bassist Levi Andreassen and the Sacconi Quartet. The programme included Mozart’s Divertimenti in D K.136, Boccherini’s Minuet from String Quintet in E G.275 and Dvorak’s String Quintet in G Op.77.
We began the evening with tours of the castle, followed by wine and canapes. We were delighted to have donated £4,000 in ticket sales to the Banburyshire Advice Centre – a vital service giving advice to local people.
