The Van Gogh Museum

Amsterdam, Netherlands
Kirker Holidays

This thriving cultural city has more museums than most other European cities with a designated ‘museum quarter’ stretching out from the Southwest part of the Singel Canal, where you’ll also find the Rijksmuseum and the grand Concertgebouw concert hall. This beautifully laid out museum also re-opened in 2013 following major refurbishment, with the addition of a new wing for temporary exhibitions and a glass entrance hall. It has built up a remarkable collection of Van Gogh’s paintings, drawings, illustrations, books and his private collection of Japanese prints, all arranged in chronological order.

Open every day of the year, 09:00 – 18:00, and until 9pm on Fridays.

Tickets for the Van Gogh Museum should always be booked in advance, as they regularly sell out, sometimes weeks in advance in the peak summer months. Contact the Kirker Concierge for assistance as early as possible before your departure from the UK
