language has become a culinary 'lingua franca' synonymous with some of our favourite dishes. Designed for those with a curiosity about Italian which extends beyond the menu, our new holiday combines the best of Milanese cuisine with informal conversation classes. Join chef Valentina Harris for a tour of Milan, which will introduce you to authentic Milanese life through some of Italy’s most delicious food and wine and a series of relaxed coffee mornings with an Italian language tutor – not to mention visits to the city’s world-class art and museums. We shall start each morning by taking an Italian conversation class in a historical Milanese cafe, before visiting museums, Patrician houses, local markets and the famous fashion district. The tour will include typical wine bars, historic cafes and local trattorias where we savour some of the finest local specialities.
